Overview
At Kidz Educational Services, we provide comprehensive educational and behavioral support for children of all ages and grade levels. Our wide range of services includes behavioral consultation, direct intervention, special education instruction, therapies (OT, PT, and Speech), and specialized supports such as assistive technology, AAC, and vision or hearing services. Each program is designed to meet the diverse needs of students through both direct and indirect service delivery models.
We partner closely with school districts to ensure high-quality instruction, evidence-based interventions, and individualized plans that align with each student’s goals. From conducting evaluations and developing Behavior Intervention Plans to implementing Response to Intervention (RTI) models and parent coaching, our team brings expertise across academic, social, emotional, and functional domains.
Our dedicated professionals are committed to fostering each child’s learning, growth, and independence with compassion, collaboration, and a strong commitment to excellence.
Assistive Technology
Assistive technology services help students access their curriculum and communicate effectively by providing tools and strategies tailored to their unique needs. This may include low-tech supports, such as adapted writing tools, or high-tech devices, such as tablets and specialized software. Our team also trains students and staff in their effective use.
Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
AAC services provide children with alternative ways to express themselves when verbal communication is limited or not functional. Using tools such as picture exchange systems, communication boards, or speech-generating devices, our therapists ensure that each child has a reliable way to communicate their needs, thoughts, and ideas.
Behavior Consultation Services
These services are delivered within the school setting to provide individualized and programmatic support to students and school personnel. Behavior consultation can focus on school-wide behavior supports, classroom management plans, and individual behavior interventions. Our qualified behavior consultants work collaboratively with the school team to deliver intervention based on the science of behavior. Consultants work closely with the school team to conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
Behavior Intervention Services
With this direct service, the therapist or behavior technician implements behavior support strategies to reduce interfering behaviors and build a variety of skills. These skills can include academic skills, functional communication, daily living skills, social/emotional skills, as well as other skills.
Enhanced Behavior Support Services
Enhanced Behavior Support Services (EBSS) was created for students who are unable to participate in their current educational setting due to interfering behaviors, and a long-term placement is not available. We provide an environment where these behaviors can be effectively addressed, and the student can continue to learn and grow.
Evaluations
We provide comprehensive evaluations to identify each child’s strengths and areas of need. Evaluations may include cognitive, academic, behavioral, communication, motor, and functional assessments. Results guide individualized education programs (IEPs) and targeted interventions that support meaningful progress.
Occupational Therapy (OT) Services
Our occupational therapy services focus on helping children develop the skills needed to participate fully in daily activities at school, home, and in the community. Therapists address areas such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and visual-motor integration to promote independence and success in learning environments.
Parent Training/Coaching
Parent training assists the parents, guardians, and caregivers to understand their child’s specific needs. Family participation and involvement is an integral part of each child’s program. Families are taught strategies that enable them to contribute to their child’s learning at home and in their community. Parent Training also helps families identify community resources to meet family and child needs. Services can be provided individually or in groups at a location designated on the IEP (home/school/community).
Physical Therapy (PT) Services
Physical therapy services are designed to improve a child’s strength, balance, coordination, and mobility. Our PTs work on gross motor development, postural control, gait training, and overall physical functioning to ensure that each child can access and engage in their educational environment as independently as possible.
Response to Intervention (RTI) Model Development
We assist schools in developing and implementing RTI models to provide tiered levels of support for students. This includes designing evidence-based interventions, progress monitoring systems, and data-driven decision-making processes. Our consultants work collaboratively with school teams to strengthen early intervention efforts and improve student outcomes.
Special Education/Instruction
Our special education teachers target all areas of academics across all grade levels. The special instruction targets the specific needs of the child and the goals set forth in the child’s Individualized Education Program (IEP). This can include pre-academic skills, learning readiness skills, as well as basic and advanced skills across math, reading, and writing.
Speech Therapy Services
Our speech and language therapy services support children in developing communication skills essential for academic and social success. This includes improving articulation, receptive and expressive language, pragmatic (social) communication, and fluency. Therapists also collaborate with teachers and families to generalize these skills across environments.
Teacher of the Deaf
We provide guidance and education to children and young adults who are deaf or hard of hearing. Our teachers will engage in a collaborative team approach to facilitate the development of communicative competence using one or a combination of service delivery models including but not limited to consultation, classroom-based integrated instruction and/or intervention, pull-out instruction and/or intervention, community-based intervention.
Vision Orientation & Mobility Services
We have specialists who provide services to children with visual impairments. These professionals also provide consultations and/or accommodations in educational settings to assist in modifying and adapting curriculum to enable a child’s full participation in their current programs.
